Yep, I went to predict earlier so I wouldn't forget again, but now I can't, and I'm probably going to forget again.

The person I originally quoted isn't talking about that.

Yep, my preds are still locked in on all my accounts and 'Voting is Closed'.
I guess it is understandable to lock people in and have anyone make changes if you must have some sort of reference point to give the people their points.
If they allow people to change they might lose information, which is a whole other issue, but anyway.
Here's to hoping Anet will fix this fiasco in the next few days / week.

i totally understand what your saying..but i talked to a few guild mates who did get some sort of points on an account of theirs they checked on that account and their picks are also locked in for the june tourney..so it not just an isolated case of it being only the ones who didn't get it....and to all those who say quit your q.q its free...well all i have to say that if they didn't want us to have it or get free stuff from it don't put it in then k thx

So the argument "Quit QQ'ing it's free" only works for people who couldn't do their last minute predictions because XTH was screwed up? Oh, the irony <3
I guess karma does exist

Actually the old house UI was absolutely the pits, I'm really glad they changed it. However, thei sscrew up isn't about the UI, the whole house is bust. I'm confident they will fix it, but I guess a lot will miss out due to not being able to log on in the very few days that it will be up for.

It's not free. The XTH is free but you have to have a Guild Wars account to be able to access it, in which case no it's not free because you had to pay for the account.
I don't know why they changed to this new system, but it's hardly improved. Rather than adding new content to a dying game, they should be focusing on Guild Wars 2 and making it better in my opinion. Or if they're going to add new stuff to Guild Wars 1, at least make sure it works before releasing it to the public and making them even more frustrated at the game. God I hope they get this fixed soon...

LOL!
A week ... a d-d a day - a weekday!!! (C&C up in smoke)
I rofl'd!
Do they really still want us to inundate their tech support with every account we have that didn't get keys (all 3 of mine no keys for May) (May predictions still locked, and no way to vote for June)?!?

Same here. And all of my GvG predicts (except one) were perfect. /sigh First time in forever I got huge points, and I don't get them.
Oh.......and my May predicts are locked for June. GG Anet
EDIT:Oh, shit. And I just realized that I have to go out of town for business next week. If they don't get this shit fixed by Friday, I wont be able to predict. This update really pisses me off.
EDIT 2: Also, someone should change the name of this thread to "June XTH House Bugged" or something. The title is misleading.

What I'm sure will happen is people who didn't get their points aren't gonna get them. Same happened to me last time this happened to me. Another month of votes and points will come by and all this will blow over. We simply don't get points this time.

Support says that they are aware and the dev team is looking into resolving the issue.
Reading between the lines it sounds a little bit like 'we don't know what screwd this up'.
If i were to guess, the XTH changes were related to the ability to log on with the ingame account, rather than with a separate XTH account - which was a good thing. The flashy new selection was, well, nice but useless waste of dev time and effort. Freezing stuff up now more or less sounds like a measure from the Dev team to ensure they keep the data they need to recalc the pts missing here and there.
I personally don't see how this process can repeatedly be screwd up, it ulltimatly comes down to designing your DB and SQL properly, but hey - i dont write code for ANet
Btw, 1 acc with too little pts, and 5 out of 8 acc with zero pts at all. Suxx big time.
And to be honest, yes, we're QQ'ing for something that's given to us for free, but from ANet's perspective, they should manage our expectations properly.
